As far back as the time of Henry V111, where the cloth trade flourished in the Cotswolds, there was a fulling mill on this site. Later it converted to grinding corn, and the present building dates from 1790. A fire at the end of the nineteenth century put it out of production, and later it became the town laundry. It is now a private house, incorporating two self contained studio apartments, Cider Press and Lime Tree.
